Competition Pieces
RBT - Lighting Competition
2022 - Citation for Presentation
The objective was to design a lighting fixture for the produce section of a major supermarket chain.
My solution was to create a module system inspired by nature, I named the Matrix Dewy System. Inspired by morning dew drops that replenishes plants, this lighting fixture uses the concept of how nature revitalizes itself to give grocery produce the same crisp and vibrancy. The modular system replicates the molecular bonds of plant polymers in how they attach. LEDs are the main source of light to ensure produce are highlighted most appealingly without doing any damage or stripping away vitamins.

2021 - Gensler Brinkmann Scholarship
2021 - Finalist
For the 2021 Gensler-Brinkmann scholarship competition, I was asked to design what a space of inspiration is.
As a designer that is focused on creating human-centric, integrated designs to enhance experience, I designed a space that is blah blah blah

every thing you can imagine is
Real.

Interior Portfolio
My process for designing and creating spaces, starts with understanding the site, demographics, and potential users. I use empathy and compassion to understand what and why I'm designing and who I am designing for. Understanding human behavior and how social settings can enhance a community and lifestyles for the users is vital component to design and something I take into consideration.
Dreamscape
Senior Year | Fall 2023
Dreamscape is family-friendly resort that caters, but not limited to, neurodiverse families. While "accessible" and "inclusive" design is among one of the top buzzwords in architecture and interior design, it still doesn't meet the criteria for people with "invisible" disabilities. There are still many misconceptions based on medicinal views on these disabilities such as autism, ADHD, and so on. Dreamscape is dedicated to creating beautiful, warm memories for families of all abilities.

Workplace Design
Senior Year | Fall 2022
Life's a game and while we can plan as much as we can, it gives us curveballs, which can affect us in different ways. I designed this workplace with this in mind, blending technology, lifestyle trends, and empathy to create solutions that are beneficial to create a diverse, supportive, and productive space.
Residential
Sophomore Year | Fall 2020
The objective was to design for a family of three–Mark, his husband Rob, and their newly adopted toddler, Emma. Additionally, the deliverables required me to use the Noguchi Coffee Table and Louis Ghost Chair by Philippe Starck. To honor and signify the family's milestone, I used transparency and privacy to reflect the couple's parenting style, which fosters principles to ensure a safe and calm environment. Compression and release was used to establish the constant, busy, flow that represents the family's active lifestyle.

Library
Sophomore Year | Spring 2021
My library project allowed me to expand the idea of exploring experiential design through critical thinking, compassion, and empathy. After being provided with a site location and doing market research, I decided the community was lacking children-friendly and neurodiverse solutions. Due to this, I made the decision to add programs such as IEP classrooms, community kitchens, and sensory spaces in this space, turning this library into a community center.
The E-STEAM Builders
Junior Year | Fall 2021
The objective was to design a commercial space of our choice within a 25' x 55' interior space, as long as it benefits the OTR community of Cincinnati, OH. Based on research and with the lack of resources for children's educational programs serving those with invisible disabilities such as ADHD and autism, I designed an IEP STEAM Center.

DreamSpace -
A Boutique Hostel
Junior Year | Fall 2021
I was required to design a hostel that expanded on the theme of my special program project (The E-STEAM Builders). This was a full-branding project that embraces the foundation of STEAM, which builds connection, self-esteem, and fun. This space was designed to be accessible, inclusive, and mindful.
